The next Thameswey ride will explore the Vale of White Horse on Saturday 18th May (note the different day). We will start at Millets Farm, off the A415 near Kingston Bagpuize, at the usual time (10:30). On the outward leg we will ride through the villages of Charney Bassett, Hatford and Shellingford to lunch at the Fox & Hounds, Uffington (14 miles). The return route will take us through further attractive villages, including Goosey and Denchworth. The total distance is 27 miles and the terrain is flat. We will be cycling along quiet country roads, with a couple of short stretches of A road and a mile of farm track at the very end.  The GPX file of the route is attached; you can also find it at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46462606 The Fox & Hounds serves basic pub food: see the attached menus.
